The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring Civics Academy, a nationally recognized program from The Civic Trust® of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, to our community.

This free 8-week program includes a self-paced online course and multiple experiential learning opportunities. This program helps participants better understand government, citizenship, civic responsibility, and how individuals can make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Meet the Candidates

Participants will attend Coffee Connections and have the opportunity to meet local candidates, hear their perspectives, and learn more about issues impacting our community.

🏢 OCTOBER 8

Civic Day of Action

Attend a Board of Commissioners Meeting and experience local government in action.

Gain firsthand insight into the decision-making process that shapes Mint Hill and Mecklenburg County.

❤️ COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECT

Work alongside fellow participants to complete a project that creates a positive impact in our community.

🎓 GRADUATION & CELEBRATION

Receive your Certificate of Completion along with a digital badge to share on your socials. Celebrate your achievement with fellow participants, Chamber leaders, and community partners.
