The Mint Hill Chamber Mentor Match Program was created to foster meaningful connections between experienced professionals and emerging leaders within our community. At the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, we are committed to serving as a connector and convenor for the business community, and this initiative reflects our dedication to strengthening relationships, encouraging leadership development, and supporting the continued growth of Mint Hill.

We believe some of the most valuable opportunities begin with a simple conversation. Whether over coffee, lunch, or at a Chamber event, meaningful relationships have the power to encourage growth, build confidence, strengthen businesses, and create lasting community connections.

Through thoughtful introductions and authentic engagement, the Mentor Match Program is designed to cultivate valuable professional relationships that inspire collaboration, guidance, and long-term community impact.

Mentor Match is intentionally designed to be simple, flexible, and relationship-focused — not a formal mentorship program with required timelines or structured commitments. Instead, the Chamber serves as a connector by thoughtfully matching individuals based on shared interests, professional goals, leadership experience, and opportunities for growth.

There are no required timelines or meeting expectations. Mentor and mentee pairs may choose:

  • A one-time coffee or lunch meeting
  • Occasional conversations or check-ins
  • Networking at Chamber events
  • Or an ongoing mentorship relationship

The goal is to create authentic and meaningful connections that support leadership development, professional growth, and community engagement throughout Mint Hill.

Who Can Participate?

Mentor Match is open to active Chamber members including:

  • Business owners and entrepreneurs
  • Executives and community leaders
  • Young professionals and emerging leaders
  • New Chamber members
  • Professionals seeking growth, guidance, or connection

Chamber’s Role

The Chamber’s role is simply to facilitate thoughtful introductions and encourage relationship-building within our business community. While we help make the connection, each mentor relationship is unique and can grow naturally based on the preferences of the individuals involved.

The Mentor Match Program is a benefit of Chamber membership and is open to active Chamber members.
