The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our partnership with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to facilitate internship opportunities for our members. As part of this collaboration, we're offering local businesses the opportunity to host paid interns during the 2024 Summer Semester.

Every internship spans 10 weeks, scheduled from May 20 to July 26, 2024, and pays $12 per hour. The Chamber will cover 50% of the total wage, with the member organization responsible for matching this contribution. The member organization will bear the initial costs, which the Chamber will reimburse upon completion of the internship.

How it Works
- Expression of Interest: If you're interested in having a paid intern join your team, please complete the form below. Internship positions for the 2024 Summer Semester are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Placement Assistance: Our Chamber will host a mandatory comprehensive sessions, facilitating an in-depth discussion on the internship program. This will be held on April 24, 2024 from 9AM-11AM at the Chamber office. During this session, we will provide insights into the benefits of hosting interns and offer assistance in creating your Internship Profile using UNCC resources available on-site.
- Internship Support: It's important to note that UNCC approves only paid internships. While the Chamber will cover 50% of the internship costs, your organization will be required to match this contribution.
